DIRECTIONS TO BALNABOTH HOUSE

Balnaboth is 40 miles from Perth, and it takes about an hour.

The most  direct route is via Coupar Angus, but it is slightly faster and easier signposting via Dundee. Head for Kirriemuir.

On reaching Kirriemuir, follow the signs for Glen Prosen & Cairngorms National Park (ignore signs to Glenisla). These take you out on the B955 to Dykehead.

Simply follow these signs till you reach Dykehead, where the hotel is being renovated.

At Dykehead the main road bears right, you fork left (signed Glenprosen). Carry on for 7 miles to Glenprosen village.

The public road ends in at a red telephone kiosk in the village, and the private drive to Balnaboth carries straight on. You go through black gates & past a gate Lodge.

At the fork in the drive bear left (signposted Balnaboth House)

Please be aware that satnav does not work in the Glen and there is no mobile reception either.
